'The Brain'

The geek arrives in a faded cheap red car he is obviously from a poor family. The EMC2 license plate is in keeping with his nerd image. He is dropped off by his mother and   sister.

                                   

'The Jock'

The jock arrives in a station wagon a real mans car reflecting his character. The OHISTO license plate is in keeping with his jock image.

'The Princess'

She arrives in a BMW a expensive car reflects that she is from a rich family. She is the princess.

'The Criminal'

He is the only one who comes to the school to attend detention on his own without any of his parents accompanying him. This makes him look independent compared to                     the others who attend with one of their parents.

'The Basket case'

She attends with a parent who drops her off and quickly leaves without a word.

In the breakfast club there are many modes of transports used to show the different characters arriving.

The Rich Girl 'The Princess' 

This girl arrives in a BMW showing she is of upper class and usually these cars were expensive to afford in the year that the movie was set in. Therefore we can tell from this car that she is from an upper class family.

Her attitude when arriving shows that this school is not worthy of her and that the place of the school itself is not what she expected showing us that she expects better.

The 'NERD'

Arrives in a cheaper car however his mother looks like she is encouraging him to get in to the school and study this shows us that he is from a working hard family.

The 'JOCK'

He arrives in a big car, this reflects on his character showing his family are hard working and courageous and his father gives him words of wisdom maybe reflecting on his upbringings and hard work. The father seems 'masculine'.

THE 'REBEL'

The so called rebel arrives on foot showing that he may already be a man and does not need his parents consultation, or any encouraging.

What we may use in our shot by shot making?

In the film that we make we may use a bus, because that's part of our daily routines we may use a car to  make a comparison.

The princess turns up in a BMW showing that she comes from a wealthy family.

The geek turns up with his father in his father's car. The car looks old, cheap and second-hand. The fact that he doesn't own his  own shows how underprivileged his family is compared to the others.

The jock turns up in a station wagon showing he must come from a hardworking family

Write up of Bling Ring

The Bling ring from the director Sophia Coppola is a movie about 5 teenagers, it stars Emma Watson who spend there weekends partying, but then think it's not enough and therefore raid celebrities house's who they read about on the web.

The Boy 'Marc' in the film becomes friends with the girls simply as a way to make friends. This is significant because as a teenager it is essential to have friends but unfortunate sometimes you fall in to the wrong trap, many teenagers can relate to this movie because they steal clothes from the houses this is because they wish to keep up with the latest trend which most teens like to do. This not only relates but also inspires us to see that many teens do the same act whilst they're living their lives.

The film that I watched over the holidays was Legally Blonde


Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) has it all. She's the president of her sorority, a Hawaiian Tropic girl, Miss June in her campus calendar, and, above all, a natural blonde. She dates the cutest boy on campus and wants nothing more than to be Mrs. Warner Huntington III. But, there's just one thing stopping Warner (Matthew Davis) from popping the question: Elle is too blonde. Growing up across the street from Aaron Spelling might mean something in LA, but nothing to Warner's East-Coast blue blood family. So, when Warner packs up for Harvard Law and reunites with an old sweetheart from prep school, Elle rallies all her resources and gets into Harvard, determined to win him back. But law school is a far cry from the comforts of her poolside and the mall. Elle must wage the battle of her life, for her guy, for herself and for all the blondes who suffer endless indignities everyday.

This film appeals to female audiences because throughout there teenage years they want to get the best grade and get in to the bets university and also have fashion and a boyfriend in their minds and this takes us through the journey.
